[About]
[About]
Julián Batista is a Spanish composer with a background in both classical and jazz piano, holding a Master's degree in Jazz Studies from the Liceu Conservatory in Barcelona.
He is currently composing the soundtrack and crafting de sound effects for Alchemy Atelier, a video game in development at BossyQuokka Studio while continuing to build his portfolio across film, animation and video game music.
His work is driven by a passion for storytelling, creating music that brings emotional depth to characters, worlds and memorable moments. Rather than simply accompanying an image, he seeks to become part of its narrative and emotional identity.
Drawing from classical music, jazz and contemporary scoring, his musical voice has been shaped by the work of composers such as Shiro Sagisu, Nobuo Uematsu, Joe Hisaishi, Ennio Morricone and Bill Evans.
Alongside composition, he also works in sound design and is always open to collaborating with filmmakers, game developers and creative teams who see music as an essential part of storytelling.
